Albany town has been developed in such a way that none of the old historical charm has been lost.
Walking down the main street of Albany (York Street) it is easy to be transported back in time, the old building built by convict labour, the beautiful street lamps and the feeling of tranquility that one feels is just wonderful.
Two beautiful mountains one either side of the town stand like sentinels protecting the city and the friendly people who call Albany home.
